Most fences here fail at the post rather than the panel, which is why fence repair is so often a better answer than replacement — and why new fence builds increasingly go up on steel posts, which have no ground-contact rot point at all.

Outdoor living gets used hard for most of the year here, and that is where the work overlaps with what Gary actually enjoys. Decks, porches, patios and planters are practical work with a lot of room in them for something better than the standard answer — and where a homeowner has an idea nobody else will price, that becomes a custom project.

That work is custom woodworking, and it is the reason people who have hired Gary once tend to call him for things they would not think to call anybody else about.
